根据中国2008年北京奥运建设规划需求和“奥运科技2008行动计划”总体框架，经2003年3月科技部“科技奥运”代表团访澳期间双方共同达成的合作意向，以及2003年7月与悉尼奥运会原CEO桑迪﹒豪威（SANDY HOLLWAY）先生一行会谈商定，现提出中国—澳大利亚“科技奥运”合作框架及第一批合作项目建议。

二、具体合作方式建议
1、科技项目合作。建议双方本着对等原则，对已确定开展合作的有关项目分别给予资助；
2、组织高层研讨会、专家交流、人员培训、考察访问等活动；
3、在国际奥委会确定的原则下，推进双方企业之间的研究开发和商业合作。
Framework and Project Proposals on China-Australia
“Hi-tech Olympic Games” Cooperation
According to the requirements of China Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Construction Program, the General Framework of “Action Plan on 2008 Hi-tech Olympic Games”, cooperation intent reached by Chinese delegation from MOST during their visit in Australia in March 2003, and the negotiation in July 2003 with Mr. Sandy Hollway, the former CEO of Sydney Olympic Games, now bring forward the Framework on China-Australia “Hi-tech Olympic Games” Cooperation and its first batch of project proposal.

2.1 Cooperation on Hi-tech projects: on the principle of equity, it is suggested to fund respectively the relevant projects confirmed to cooperate by both sides;

2.3 On the principle defined by IOC, to promote the R&D and business cooperation between the enterprises of both sides.
